The parents of Dylan Klebold, one of the Columbine High School gunmen, have notified local officials that they may sue them for failing to prevent the bloody Colorado rampage. In a notice of claim filed October15, the Klebolds allege that the local sheriff botched a 1998 complaint filed against Eric Harris, the other teenage killer. It was the sheriff's "wanton actions and inactions," the Klebolds claim, that helped trigger April's bloodbath and exposed the couple to "substantial damage claims, vilification, grief, and loss of enjoyment."
